To our valued customers,

Our team at Ivent and Smart Water would like to provide a further update on our COVID-19 response plan.

I am pleased to be able to advise that Ivent Solutions Limited is now authorised to ship goods to customers that are classified as essential businesses. We are also able to ship out our Smart Water range of products via online sales only. We will be running a very limited warehouse operation, mainly to protect our staff and to ensure that we comply with the “Alert Level 4” government restrictions. The safety of our warehouse staff is paramount and strict precautions and processes are being implemented. All other business operations such as sales, accounts, purchasing and engineering will continue to be operational as our staff are working from home. We have a highly integrated IT infrastructure which enables Ivent personnel to operate as effectively from home as they do in the office.

No “walk-in” customers are allowed on site at Ivent or Smart Water during the Alert Level 4 lockdown. Please ensure you respect this rule to protect our warehouse staff.

If your business is classified as essential, please contact your normal Ivent support person and we can make arrangements to get product flowing to you.

Finally, please take care of yourselves and your loved ones in the coming weeks.

Kind Regards

Tim Stone

For January and February 2020, we look at the impact of the Corona Virus in China to the electronic components supply chain. It is very challenging times in China at the moment for most factories and there will certainly be an impact over the next 2-3 months of deliveries.

Aaaaaand that's a wrap for 2019! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of our valued customers and friends. We are already looking forward to what will be an exciting 2020 for Ivent!

This month we review the ongoing use of lead acid batteries and the projections forward towards 2025. Lithium-ion is certainly the future however the future is also bright for the trusty old lead acid battery!

This month we look at the leadtimes of electronic components and a high level brief of the market as we steam towards the end of 2019. Great to see leadtimes starting to trend down, especially on MLCC's however Ivent is still very cautious and continues to manage the supply very carefully.

Check out the latest displays released from our key OEM supplier DLC Display. Ivent can even assist with hardware and software design to get you up and running with the newest technology available.

Where does all this Lithium come from? Check out the latest report for an insight to our thirst for this rare element.

Check out Ivent's latest Market Trends Report for July. Interesting discussion on the market for the first two quarters of 2019, and a look at the global market share of semiconductor manufacturers...
